ZipFilter
| Description |
This filter searches within zip files attached to an e-mail and checks it's file list's extensions against a blocklist. If a match is found, the filter returns an exit code of 255, allowing NoSpamToday! to reject or redirect the e-mail. This filter is very effective at stopping viruses/trojans as many are sent within zip files. This filter will even stop password-protected zip files if they contain dangerous files. When checking, the filter ignores any trailing period on a file's extension. For details, please see the ZipFilter Readme. |
