How do you find out which emails/licenses have been used since the counter was reset? NST is reporting that we've exceeded our license count. However, there are several "passed" entries in the log that don't correspond with our list of registered email addresses.

Do whitelist entries count towards license usage?

Cheers, Rob.

If available, NST logs the From/To addresses from the mail header and not the envelope addresses used on the SMTP protocol level. Usually these addresses match, but for spam messages and in some legitimate cases (ie. Bcc messages) they don't.

License usage is determined by looking at the envelope recipient address (used in the SMTP command "RCPT TO").

The whitelist filter looks at *sender* addresses only (both the envelope sender and the from header).

To exempt an address from license counting, you need to put it on the list of recipient address patterns that disable filters. Or don't accept the message at all, either by configuring your mail server accordingly, or by setting the recipient address pattern list in the SMTP port setting.
