When I perform a Check for Updates using Help - Check for Updates I get error message:

Check for updates operation failed (request failed)

If I check my proxy log I can see where the request has come through from the mail server but it says:

3:21:58 PM PROXY: 3228 xx.xx.x.xx Connection has arrived.(03)
3:21:58 PM PROXY: 3228 Bad URL
3:21:58 PM PROXY: 3228 Blank URL
3:21:58 PM PROXY: 3228 Connection closed

Can anyone help me to get a valid URL in here so that Auto Updates actually works?

Which NST version are you currently using ?
The latest version is 2.3.1.2 and can be downloaded from http://www.nospamtoday.com/download/server

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am currently running v2.3.1.2

I just downloaded this version again and installed on a different machine and got the same result.

Is there a registry setting somewhere that I can check? Maybe it went astray during the install process.

Check for updates queries this URL:

http://www.byteplant.com/data/nospamtoday?version=2.3.1.2&application=f

This is hardcoded and can't be changed. You get to set the IP/hostname and port of your proxy, which probably is what you have already done.
