Can we possibly see the addition of tar pit features in future releases of NST?

This scheme might help a little. But tarpitting is not only a pain to the spammer. It can be a pain for your server too, as every tarpitted SMTP session uses up resources on your server as well. And a network of remote spam robots has infinite resources in comparison to your mail server.

I think I would prefer greylisting. Mail is rejected at first with a temporary error response, and the usual spammer won't come back to retry later.
