Hi there,

How does the System Load relate to the CPU/mem usage of the server?

I'm looking at a sys load of 32%, with 10 active sessions, but I look at my task manager and see a consisten 3% CPU usage flicker on task manager as it processes mails, I guess, and 7.5meg RAM usage.

??

The system load is calculated from the system RAM usage. SpamAssassin or virus checkers use a lot of system RAM, and NoSpamToday! takes pains not to drive the server into saturation.

While NoSpamToday! uses only 7.5MB, there still may be virus checkers or SpamAssassin instances around that use about 25MB each.
