Hy,

I installed the last version of No Spam Today wich includes an automtic bayesian filter. The problem is that this module recognizes too many non-spam mails as spam. I would like to disable that function. Can I do this?

The previous version of No Spam today worked a lot better for us....

You can disable Bayes filtering, by changing the line

use_bayes 1

to

use_bayes 0

in the file [installation directory]\sa\ruleset\local.cf

Bayesian filtering was included from the first version of NoSpamToday!. A well-trained Bayes database improves filtering, but it can be troublesome to keep a Bayes database well maintained.

Maybe some message was mislearned, and now causes this problem. If you experience false positives caused by the Bayes filter, it helps to learn those messages as ham. Look in the FAQ for help on Bayes learning.

Thanks,

I disabled the function.
With the older version I checked beyesian spam filter off in the user interface and about 90% of the spam was recognized by No Spam Today, (and only few false spam) which was very good since I didn't have any maintance at all.

I hope to get the same results again.
