Does nospamtoday use the XBL by dropping the smtp connection when it realizes the sender's IP is in the XBL?

This would save alot of mail processing from known spam gangs. Instead of accepting all email and processing it based on SA, filters etc... , spamassassin would simply drop the connection.

More info on the XBL is here:

http://www.spamhaus.org/xbl/index.lasso

Please advise.

SpamAssassin uses both the XBL and SBL lists of spamhaus.org, but only after the mail has been received in full.
