Can you help me understandig what's going wrong here?

header AAA_HEADER Message-ID =~ /.*/
describe AAA_HEADER Very basic Header rule
score AAA_HEADER -0.1

body AAA_BODY /.*/
describe AAA_BODY Very basic Body rule
score AAA_BODY -0.1

Now, i can get the AAA_BODY in every message going thru sa, but there is no way to get the AAA_HEADER test to be true, even if i check From, To, Subject, ALL fields.

It seems that the header rule is not checked.

Any help?

thank you
Maurizio

Open a command line window, change to the NST installation directory and test
your .cf files with SpamAssassin's lint option:

sa\spamassassin.exe -c sa\ruleset -x --lint

If you want to check whether SpamAssassin is using a certain configuration file, just put in a syntax error in this file (e.g. write a line with the word "foo" in it). If the file is used by SpamAssassin, an error should be reported.
