IMO the 1st July 2004 cut-off for free upgrades is a little mean...

Did we not get a years support and upgrades when we purchased NST? I know we are not talking large sums of money but it does seem a little harsh to existing customers. With the likes of McAffee giving good deals on combined spam and anti-virus solutions it can't be good for business.

We see your point here but we are sure that you'll agree that the deadline had to be
drawn somewhere. You should also consider that if you order your upgrade before
December 31st 2004 you will receive a 50% discount on your purchase.

If you purchase NST with 1 years support then I would have thought the line would have been drawn where support had expired...
..eitherway the cost is small and the product is very effective.

This sounds far more reasonable to me and pretty much in line with most software vendors.

Guess so but that's not the point is it anyway Smile I'm going to have to go and ask our accountant for more money - never a pleasant prospect!

I'm glad I'm not alone though in thinking the same. After all, some of those new features were suggested in this forum.

Cheers, Rob.
