Trying to use no spam today! w/ gmail via MS Outlook. However, when I follow the instructions, the username change that's suggested by the for POP accounts:
"username:mailhost" (where I enter my info as: "myname@gmail.com:pop.gmail.com"
incoming: localhost
doesn't work when Outlook tries to access my gmail acct. I end up having to change back my username to: "myname@gmail.com" to access my email. Am I doing something wrong here?

You are the first I've heard, having the need for filtering a gMail account!!
gMail is far the most effective spamfilter ever, imho ??
