Please could someone tell me, as a complete novice, how I can 'tell' No Spam Today that all my personal addresses from my mail provider's address list (Thunderbird, in my case) are OK, and not Spam! I cannot believe I have to add each address to the Whitelist? Many thanks - leckers

You can export T-bird's address book to various file formats. Use a text editor to edit, and copy&paste to the whitelist_from setting of NST.

The setting is stored in the file sa\ruleset\local.cf, you can also edit this file directly (see also http://spamassassin.apache.org/full/3.0.x/dist/doc/Mail_SpamAssassin_Conf.html).
