Block bad return addresses? [message #2054] Mon, 28 June 2004 22:31

Does No Spam Today for Workstations check to see if the return address is undeliverable? I've been told it does but want to check, and to see if there's something specific that needs to be done to enable it. Just that check alone would block most of my spam.

Thanks,
Tom

It checks the Received: headers for known open relays and the like, but it doesn't check the From: address in itself. Because it is so simple to fake a return address, most spammers use someome else's valid return address.
