Our mail system is set up to send mail to the outside world through an alternate gateway if the primary is down.

Is it possible to set up the same for incoming mail with NST?

I am thinking of something comparable to a second MX record with a lower priority.

Thanks, Peter

Yes, this is possible with NoSpamToday!.
All you need is a second NoSpamToday! instance (this requires an additional license of course) preferrably running on separate hardware and a secondary MX record in the DNS that points to the new instance.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Well, this is the obvious solution. I want to tell my existing NST to forward incoming mails to a second mail server, if the first one is down.

Is there any other way to accomplish this?

Thanks, Peter
