hi,

I already read something about allowing incoming TLS connections. It had been written that I have to include the parameter

TLS=1

to the config file.

my 1st question: in which section should the parameter appear ?

my 2nd question: how does NST handle TLS connections ? does it only appear as a simple tcp proxy/forwarder, so that the connection will be established directly between the remote and my own mail server (by using itīs own certificate) ?

bye,
Kay

It needs to go into the SMTPPort section.

Yes, the "starttls" command switches the proxy into pass-through mode. The TLS session is then negotiated directly between the remote server and your own mail server.
