Virus filter says it's SPAM!? [message #2025] Thu, 13 August 2009 12:35 Go to next message

Hi,

since I do not want to drop the email if the virus filter found a virus, I chose "accept/redirect" for this case.
The mail then is being redirected to the redirect email address specified in the SMTP Proxy config, however, subject of the mail is altered to "* SPAM * ".
This is very misleading!
I wonder if there is any possibility to have an altered subject like "* VIRUS * " or so?

Thanks,

In the CleanMail.cf file, you can add a SubjectTag="*VIRUS*" line to the virus filter configuration.
