Hello,

We're scheduling an email-server upgrade one day next week, and therefore our email server will be offline for up-to a full day.

What effect will this have on NoSpamToday (which sits on a different server, and passes mail to our mailserver).
Will nospamtoday hold the mail until it can deliver, or will it reject the mail ?

Please advise,

David

NoSpamToday is a transparent SMTP proxy (not a relay) and will accept incoming mails only if your mail server is ready to accept them.
No reason to worry in your case - SMTP is a fault-tolerant protocol and legitimate sender MTAs are obliged to retry to deliver mails several times (see the RFCs for details).
